ابو عبيده بن الجراح

عامر بن عبدالله بن الجراح (583-639 عيسوي)، جيڪا ابو عبيده بن الجراح جي نالي سان مشهور آهن، رسول الله صلي الله عليه وآله وسلم جي جليل القدر صحابه ۽ عشره المبشره مان هڪ آهن. هن هڪ عظيم مسلم ڪمانڊر هئا. هو گهڻو ڪري انهن ڏهن مان هڪ هجڻ جي ڪري مشهور آهن جنهن سان جنت جو واعدو ڪيو ويو آهي. خليفه دوم حضرت عمر فاروق رضي الله تعالي عنه جي دور ۾ اسلامي فوج جي هڪ وڏي حصي جا ڪمانڊر رهيا ۽ حضرت عمر پاران مقرر ڪيل ڇهه جانشينن جي فهرست ۾ شامل هئا، پر حضرت عمر جي وفات کان اڳ 639ع ۾ طاعون عمواس ۾ فوت ٿي ويا.

ʿĀmir ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Jarrāḥ (سانچو:Langxسانچو:Ltr; 583–639 CE), better known as Abū ʿUbayda (سانچو:Langxسانچو:Ltr) was a Muslim commander and one of the Companions of the Prophet. He is mostly known for being one of the ten to whom Paradise was promised. He remained commander of a large section of the Rashidun Army during the time of the Rashid Caliph Umar and was on the list of Umar's appointed successors to the Caliphate, but died in the Plague of Amwas in 639 before Umar.
